Leaders in the Syracuse Community are trying to teach young African Americans about the dangers of HIV and AIDS. A workshop was held at Hopp's Memorial Church Saturday.
The two hour event featured a guest panel of speakers talking about the disease. One HIV positive speaker tells us why she's reaching out to teens.
"It makes me feel like an angel. I feel so blessed that I have taken lemons and instead made lemonade to help people," said Monica Heath, Guest Speaker.
