The Jackson State University Global HIV/AIDS Alliance and the state Department of Health will host the Mississippi Development Cluster Summit.
Kevin Fenton, director of the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will speak during the noon luncheon.
The summit also aims to help create HIV testing sites on each of Mississippi's historically black college and university campuses, according to a news release from JSU.
Scheduled panelists include David Beckley of Rust College, Roy Hudson of Mississippi Valley State University, Beverly Wade Hogan of Tougaloo College, George Ross of Alcorn State University and Rachel Gumbi of University of Zululand, South Africa.
